The Consorzio del Brunello is the first in Italy to create an App “iBrunello HD”: everything you need to know about Montalcino wines,  photo gallery, news and events and above all the possibility of creating a personalized itinerary according

products of your choice. All this connected to the delicacies of the Montalcino territory

Montalcino, 26th October 2012 - The Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino presents the App: “iBrunello HD” for iPhone and iPad. With this App downloaded for free from the Apple Store one can  locate all the wineries, reserve visits and tastings, receive useful information about producers and the territory and  scroll the photogallery.

the need to create this instrument – comments President of the Consorzio Fabrizio Bindocci – stems from an ever greater use of “smart” technologies by travellers and “enonauts” interested in discovering the territory in an easy fast way. It’s a complete avant-garde instrument in response to the request for information and the need of fruition of the territory and the estates”.

From a structural point of view, the App is divided into 6 sections: the one that mainly interests wine aficionados and serves more ‘demanding’ travellers,

called “wineries”, in which one can find information about every producer regarding production, visiting possibilities and the location on the territory. With this application it also possible to visualize an itinerary for reaching the estate.

The “wines” section allows one to obtain important information regarding the production regulations of Montalcino’s four denominations. One can find out the ratings of the various vintages, and see the celebratory tiles that make up a historic series on the wall of the historic Town Hall.

The “news “ section shows the latest events and manifestations organized in Italy and abroad, while the “gallery” section, dedicated to those who want to enjoy the landscapes is rich in pictures. There is no lack of information regarding the territory under the section with this name, full of historic notes, while in the “info” page one will find information about the Consorzio with a map showing its position.

From a graphic point of view, the application has an attractive outlay in keeping with the coordinated image of the Consorzio and of all its promotional material, including that of the website  www.consorziobrunellodimontalcino.it.
